Jean Lowth (née Canning)


LOWTH (née Canning), Jean, Blackrock, Co. Dublin. Suddenly and unexpectedly in the care of St. Vincent’s University Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Dick.

Most cherished mother of Brenda (Hayes), Jackie (Brownlow), Maureen (Mulholland), and Helen (Smith). Mother-in-law of Marcus, Jeff, Liam and Brian. Adored Granny Jean to Lorna, Stephen, Emma, David, Josh, Richard, Mae, Issie, Kate, Ruth and Liam. Great Grandmother to Dylan, Calum, Oliver, Tom and Beth. She will be dearly missed by her family, her sister Etta (D’Art), sister-in-law Patsy, her many friends and great neighbours. A special thank you to her niece Yvonne for all the kindness shown to Jean during her last few days.

Reposing at Massey Bros, Funeral Home, 5 Newtownpark, Blackrock on Wednesday 24th April from 5 pm to 7 pm. Jean’s Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday morning at 10.00am at the Church of the Guardian Angels, Blackrock followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.
